Battle of cough medicines in the Philippines (Year 2010):
Ascof is a new cough medicine in the market which endorses its product as a safer alternative because its component is made from a medicinal plant called lagundi unlike other cough medicines which are made of chemicals. This commercial emphasizes on the safer aspect of a product made from natural source against products made of chemicals. Solmux reacted on the commercial of Ascof stating years of experience and classification as a home remedy tagging. They also mentioned that being “natural” cannot be a gauge to determine safety of the product.

House and lot commercial for middle class families (Year 2010):
Camella Homes is a middle class housing project of VistaLand Company which came up with a house and lot commercial targeting middle class families. Avida Land Homes which is developed by Ayala Land, a competitor, subsequently also came up with a commercial whose target market is middle class families’ housing as well.
